Two Ways to Use Paddl

Paddl has two main interfaces: the admin panel (for managers) and the mobile app (for all staff). Understanding the difference will help you get the most out of Paddl.

The Admin Panel (manage.paddl-ai.co)

The admin panel is a web-based dashboard accessible from any browser. It's designed for business owners and managers to:

  • Create and schedule routines (checklists)

  • Upload and manage documents

  • Build your knowledge base

  • Manage team members and staff groups

  • Create risk assessments

  • Set up allergen information

  • Track equipment and servicing

  • View compliance dashboards and reports

  • Manage SFBB packs

The Mobile App

The mobile app is for day-to-day use by all staff members. It lets them:

  • Check in and out of shifts

  • Complete assigned tasks and checklists

  • View and sign documents

  • Browse the knowledge hub

  • Submit quick reports

  • Ask Paddy (AI assistant) questions

  • Complete training sign-offs

Can I Use Both?

Yes! If you're a manager who also works shifts, you can use both the admin panel and the mobile app with the same login credentials. The admin panel gives you management tools, while the app lets you complete tasks alongside your team.

Switching Between Staff and Manager Views

In the mobile app, managers can access additional management features by tapping the briefcase icon in the header. This gives you access to management tools without leaving the app.
