What alerts are

Alerts are how Paddl flags things that need attention. They are raised automatically from your own data and gathered under Alerts in the admin panel, so you do not have to go looking for problems.

What raises an alert

Alert

Triggered when

Overdue task

A routine or task is past its due time

Out of range

A temperature or other reading is outside its limit

Equipment

Service is due, or a monitored unit goes offline

Expiry

A document, insurance, or licence is nearing its date

Review due

A risk assessment or HACCP plan is due a review

SFBB update

The FSA template has changed

Clearing them

  1. Open Alerts

  2. Take the action each one points to, such as logging the missed check, booking the service, or renewing the document

  3. The alert clears once the underlying issue is resolved

Tip: Clear open alerts before an inspection so your EHO Visit Dashboard tells a clean story.
