Check what you might be missing
Many hospitality businesses leave tax reliefs unclaimed simply because they do not know they qualify. Under Business & legal > Tax reliefs, answer a short set of questions on the Your answers view and Paddl estimates what may be available on the Reliefs view.
Availability: Tax reliefs is UK-only, beside Business rates.
Fill in your business details
Every field is optional, and the more you answer the better the estimate. You are asked about things like:
Your business type and whether you are currently profitable
Whether you own the freehold or lease, and the purchase price if you own it
Recent fit-out or equipment spend (kitchen, refrigeration, refit)
Number of employees and annual payroll, and whether you already claim Employment Allowance

Click Save details. Paddl saves your answers and Paddy checks them, which takes a moment. Check with Paddy talks it through with Paddy instead. The reliefs are claimed by the business as a whole, so there is one set of answers rather than one per site.
What the result shows
The Reliefs view opens on Paddy's verdict, with the estimated saving. Under it is a finding for each relief worth claiming, with roughly what it is worth and whether that is once or every year, and one for each relief worth checking. Each has a link to the guidance on gov.uk where there is one, or Draft the email to your accountant. Below it, a table lists every relief checked, such as capital allowances, embedded fixtures, employment allowance, and apprenticeship funding, each with a status, whether you already claim it, an explanation, and an estimated figure.
The figures come from the published rules applied to your answers, and Paddy only writes the words. Paddy checks your answers again every Monday. See Paddy's analysis.
Important: These are estimates to show where it is worth looking, not a tax return. Confirm anything you want to claim with your accountant. For property rates rather than tax, see Business Rates Intelligence.
