The Head office channel
Each business in your organisation that uses team chat has a Head office channel. Its owners and managers are in it, and so is head office, who write as the organisation. Head office sees that channel only, never the business's other channels or direct messages.
On the organisation pages, open Messages to see each business you look after, with what is unread. Choose a business to read its channel and reply. In the business, the channel appears in Team chat as Head office.
Who sees which businesses
Admins: every business in the organisation
Brand managers: the businesses in their brands
Area managers: the businesses with a site in their areas
Sending a broadcast
Go to Messages and choose New broadcast
Write the message, and a title if you like
Choose where it goes: each business's Head office channels (owners and managers), or Everyone at the sites (each business's site channels)
Choose who gets it: all your businesses, by brand, by area, or chosen businesses. An area manager sending to sites reaches only the sites in their areas
Choose how important it is, and whether people must acknowledge it. Urgent always asks for an acknowledgement
Check the count, then Send broadcast
Each business gets its own copy, so read receipts, urgent alerts, acknowledgements and reminders work as they do for its own broadcasts. A business with team chat switched off is told in the app instead: its owners and managers get a notification.
Who has read it
Open Messages > Broadcasts and choose a broadcast. The report shows each business, then each person: read, acknowledged, or told in the app.
