Brands
A brand groups businesses by what they sell. Set them up in Organisation > Brands. Brands are optional, and a business is in at most one brand.
You can send an update to a brand, and a brand manager looks after the businesses in their brands.
The allergen page for a brand
A brand can set how the allergen page looks for every business in it. On Organisation > Brands, choose the QR code button on the brand's row and switch on This brand sets the allergen page. Then set the logo, colour, background, heading and introduction, as a business does under Allergens > Share. The look shows on each business's page, poster and QR code straight away.
Each business keeps its own dishes and chooses what its page shows. Switch it off, or take a business out of the brand, and each business's own look comes back. Organisation admins set it.
Areas
An area groups sites by where they are, across businesses. Set them up in Organisation > Areas. Areas are optional, and a site is in at most one area.
For example, an area called Hereford can hold a burger shop, a pizza place and a bookshop café that are three separate businesses.
You can send an update to an area, and an area manager looks after the sites in their areas.
The By area view
On Organisation > Home, switch to By area to see readiness and updates grouped by area instead of by business.
Sites with no area
A site that is not in any area shows under Needs attention on Home, so none are missed.
Areas and regions
Inside a business nothing changes: business, regions (optional), sites. A region groups the sites of one business, set up by that business under Settings > Regions. An area groups sites across businesses and belongs to the organisation. Businesses in an organisation can use regions too; see Setting Up Regions.
