Creating the organisation

You need to own two or more live businesses.

  1. Go to All businesses

  2. Choose to create an organisation and give it a name

  3. Tick the businesses you own that should join. They join straight away

Each business keeps its own subscription, approval and records. Joining changes none of them.

Inviting a business someone else owns

A business owned by someone else, such as a franchisee, joins only when its owner accepts an invitation.

  1. Go to Organisation > Businesses and invite the business's owner by email; they choose which of their businesses joins

  2. Its owner gets the invitation and a consent screen listing exactly what the organisation will see and do

  3. When they accept, the business joins

An invitation expires after 14 days. If it runs out before the owner accepts, resend it.

Leaving or removing a business

A business can leave at any time, and an organisation admin can remove one. Either way:

  • Every item linked to the library becomes the business's own independent copy

  • Its history is kept

  • Nothing is deleted
