Change your name, email, and password, set a profile photo, and turn on two-factor authentication.

Your profile

Manage your own account under Settings > Profile (you can also reach it from your name in the business selector). From here you can update your display name, add or change your profile photo, and manage how you sign in.

Changing your email

Click Change Email and enter the new address. Paddl sends a verification link to that address, and the change only takes effect once you click it, so the account is never left pointing at an unverified inbox.

Changing your password

Click Change Password, enter your current password, then your new one. If you have forgotten your current password, log out and use Forgot password? on the login page instead.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds a second step at login using an authenticator app, so a stolen password alone is not enough to get in. To set it up:

  1. Under Settings > Profile, click Enable 2FA

  2. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy

  3. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm

  4. Save your backup codes somewhere safe; each one works once if you cannot reach your authenticator

To turn it off, click Disable 2FA and enter a current code or a backup code.

Tip: Some account emails, such as password changes and login alerts, are always sent for security and cannot be switched off. You control the rest under Settings > Notifications.

Switching accounts or businesses

To move between businesses you belong to, use the business selector, covered in Switching Between Businesses. To sign in or out, see Logging In and Troubleshooting Access.
