Two kinds of certificate
Certificates you earn by completing Paddl training appear on their own under Profile > My Certificates, see Completing Training on the App. This guide is for the other kind: a certificate or document you got elsewhere, such as a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, a first aid certificate, or a right-to-work document, that you want to add to your record.
Uploading from the app
In the Paddl Assist app:
Open the Profile tab and tap Documents under My Compliance
Tap the + button
Choose the file, a photo or PDF of the certificate
Pick the type (Certificate, Training Record, ID Document, or Other), give it a title, and add the expiry date if it has one
Tap Upload
When you add an expiry date, Paddl reminds you before it runs out so you can renew in good time, and your manager can see it is in date.
Uploading on the web
You can do the same in the admin panel at manage.paddl-ai.co, which also works in your phone browser. Go to Team > Team Members, open your own profile, and use the Certificates or Documents tab to upload.
If you are a manager
Managers and owners can upload on behalf of any team member: in the app, choose the person when uploading; on the web, open them under Team > Team Members and upload to their Certificates or Documents tab. The whole team's documents are also listed under Team > Documents.
Cannot see the upload option? Uploading your own documents is a permission, set per person under Team > Team Members > Permissions (Can upload own documents). If it is switched off, ask your manager to turn it on or to upload the certificate for you.
