Signing in
Sign in with your email and password (the same login as the admin panel). Tick Remember me to save your email for next time. If your email belongs to more than one business, the app asks which one to open.
Face ID, Touch ID, and fingerprint
Once signed in, you can unlock the app with biometrics so you are not typing a password every shift.
Go to Profile > Security
Turn on Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint (whatever your device supports)
Confirm with the biometric prompt
After that, the app unlocks with your face or fingerprint. For security it asks again if the app has been in the background for about 15 minutes.
Shared tablets
On a shared tablet, the app automatically signs out after about 15 minutes of no activity, so the next person cannot use the previous person's account. Phones use the biometric lock above instead of auto sign-out.
Tip for shared tablets: each person should sign in as themselves so checks, sign-offs, and training are recorded against the right person. Sign out when you finish if the tablet stays out.
Support sign-in
If you contact support, an agent may send a secure link that opens the app signed in as you, so they can see exactly what you see. It is one-off and does not change your password.
