What Location Monitoring is for
Licensed and late-night venues often have to evidence noise, occupancy and entry refusals as part of their premises licence. Location Monitoring in the sidebar is one Records page for all three.
The chips
Chip | What you record |

Each chip shows the completions of your routines in that category, with who logged them and when; All shows the three together. The three monitoring pages that used to sit under this item now open the matching chip.
Dots and missing rows
A nightclub, late bar or live music venue is expected to log sound and capacity, and every licensed venue to keep a refusals log. If you have no routine for one of those, its chip shows a dot, and the missing row at the top offers Set up the routine or, for owners, Doesn't apply to us with a reason.
Thresholds
Set the noise threshold and the maximum capacity on the location, so an out-of-range reading raises an alert. A consistent refusals log is exactly the evidence police and licensing teams look for, and it protects both the premises licence and the staff member who made the call.
