What is PAT Testing?

PAT testing is the examination of electrical appliances to check they're safe. While not legally required, it's recommended best practice and often required by insurers.

Recording PAT Tests

  • Go to PAT Testing in the Admin Panel

  • Click "Record Test" or upload a PAT certificate

  • Enter the test date and next test due date

  • List equipment tested

  • Attach the test certificate

  • Save

Test Frequency

Testing frequency depends on equipment type and environment. High-risk items in commercial kitchens may need annual testing, while office equipment might only need testing every 2-4 years.
