Why Versioning Matters

When procedures change, it's important to know what was current at any point in time. Versioning provides an audit trail and helps with compliance.

Viewing Version History

  • Open a knowledge article in the Admin Panel

  • Click "Version History"

  • See a list of all saved versions

  • View what changed between versions

  • See who made each change and when

Creating New Versions

Each time you save changes to an article, a new version is created automatically. Add a change summary to help others understand what was updated.

Best Practices

  • Review procedures regularly and update as needed

  • Add clear change summaries when updating

  • Re-request sign-offs when significant changes are made

  • Communicate important changes to staff
