Setting Up Temperature Routines

Create temperature check routines for all refrigeration:

  • Go to Routines & Tasks

  • Create a new routine in the Temperature category

  • Add number fields for each fridge/freezer

  • Set acceptable ranges (e.g., 0-5°C for fridges, below -18°C for freezers)

  • Schedule for multiple times daily

Recording Temperatures

Staff complete temperature checks in the mobile app. Enter the reading for each unit. Out-of-range temperatures are flagged automatically.

Hot Holding

Food held hot must stay above 63°C. Create separate hot holding checks for service periods.

Cooking Temperatures

Record cooking temperatures to verify food is cooked safely. Different foods have different requirements (e.g., poultry to 75°C core temperature).

Temperature History

View historical temperature data in the Admin Panel. This is valuable evidence for EHO inspections and helps identify equipment issues.
