Tracking Equipment

The Equipment section lets you track all your business equipment — fridges, freezers, ovens, dishwashers, and more. Paddl monitors servicing schedules and can generate AI-powered health insights.

Adding Equipment

  1. Go to Equipment in the admin panel

  2. Click Add Equipment

  3. Enter the equipment name, type, and category

  4. Add details like make, model, serial number, and location

  5. Set the servicing schedule if applicable

Equipment Categories

Paddl comes with built-in equipment categories (Refrigeration, Cooking, Cleaning, etc.) to help you organise your items. You can also create custom categories if needed.

Servicing Reminders

When you set a service date and frequency for equipment, Paddl will alert you when servicing is due. This helps you stay on top of maintenance and ensures your equipment is always compliant.

Uploading Equipment Files

You can attach files to equipment records (e.g. user manuals, service records, PAT test certificates). These are stored securely and accessible from the equipment detail page.

Tip: If you're having trouble uploading files, make sure the file is under 10MB and in a supported format (PDF, JPG, PNG). If the upload fails, try a different browser or reduce the file size.
