What Is COSHH?

COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) tracks the chemicals used in your business. Paddl helps you maintain a digital COSHH register, including safety data sheets and usage information per location.

Adding COSHH Items

  1. Go to COSHH in the admin panel

  2. Click Add Item

  3. Enter the product name, manufacturer, and hazard information

  4. Upload the safety data sheet (SDS) if available

  5. Add usage details for each location

What to Include

Your COSHH register should include all cleaning chemicals, sanitisers, pesticides, and any other hazardous substances used in your business. For each item, record:

  • Product name and manufacturer

  • Hazard warnings and safety precautions

  • How to use it safely

  • First aid measures

  • Storage requirements
