Start from a template

The quickest way to begin is from a template, which fills in the rule for you so you only have to adjust the details.

  1. Go to Operations > Automations and click New automation.

  2. Pick a template, such as Weather, wind & tide at check-in or Sunny day banner prompt.

  3. Give the rule a clear name so the team knows what it does.

  4. Choose whether it applies to all locations or just specific ones.

  5. Click Create automation.

What happens next

Check-in rules take effect immediately: the next time someone checks in at a covered location, they see the panel. Forecast rules run each day at the time you set and create a task when the conditions match.

Build from scratch instead

Choose Start from scratch on the template screen if you want to set the trigger, conditions and action yourself. See Conditions explained and Actions explained.
