SumUp POS (formerly Goodtill) links with your account subdomain and a login. Only the Paddl account owner can link a till.

Before you start

  • Ask SumUp POS support to switch on API access for your account (pos.support.uk.ie@sumup.com).

  • Create a login for Paddl with the store owner or admin level. A till operator login cannot be used. A login of its own means a staff member logging out every session does not stop the feed.

Linking

  1. Press Link your till on Sales > Takings, then Connect next to SumUp POS (Goodtill).

  2. Enter the subdomain (the part before .thegoodtill.com), the username and the password, and press Connect. Paddl checks the login first, and stores it encrypted.

  3. Each outlet is paired with the Paddl site of the same name. Check the pairing under Settings > Integrations.

What comes in

Completed sales from the last thirteen months, then every half hour: takings, card and cash, service charge, refunds and each product sold.
