Getting your data out of Paddl
Most areas of Paddl let you export, and the option usually sits on the page you are looking at, often a button labelled Export near the top. Here is where each one lives and what you get.
What you can export
What | Where | Format |
|---|---|---|
Everything for an inspection | Audit Pack (Food Safety Management) | ZIP of PDFs |
Allergen matrix | Allergens > Export | PDF or CSV |
HACCP plan | Food Safety > HACCP Plans > Export PDF | |
COSHH register | COSHH > Export COSHH Register | PDF (chart or full) |
Food safety & hygiene records | Excel | |
A single incident or complaint | the record > Export PDF | PDF with amendment trail |
Legal enquiry evidence | Legal Guidance > Export Legal Pack | ZIP of PDFs |
Visitor log | Team > Visitors > Export CSV | CSV |
Knowledge pages | Knowledge Hub > Export | ZIP of PDFs |
Printing
Where there is a PDF export, that is the version to print. Open it and print as you would any PDF. For screens without a dedicated export, your browser's print option (Cmd+P on a Mac, Ctrl+P on Windows) will print what is on the page.
Tip: Exports reflect your data at the moment you download them, so save any recent changes first. For an inspector, the Audit Pack is almost always the right choice because it gathers everything into one file.
