Epos Now links with an API device: a key and secret from your Back Office. Only the Paddl account owner can link a till.

Create the API device in Back Office

  1. In Epos Now Back Office, open Web Integrations, then REST API.

  2. Press Add Device and name it Paddl. An API device uses one of your device licences.

  3. Open Access Credentials on the new device and copy the API key and API secret.

Paste them into Paddl

  1. Press Link your till on Sales > Takings, then Connect next to Epos Now.

  2. Paste the key and secret and press Connect Epos Now. Paddl checks them with Epos Now first, and stores them encrypted.

  3. Each Epos Now location is paired with the Paddl site of the same name. Check the pairing under Settings > Integrations.

What comes in

Completed transactions from the last thirteen months, then every half hour: takings, card and cash, tips, service charge, refunds, covers from table orders, and each product sold.

Stopping it

Delete or regenerate the API device in Back Office, or press Disconnect in Paddl. Takings already brought in are kept.
