Onboarding new starters

An induction is the set of steps a new starter works through when they join: things to read and acknowledge, and tasks to complete. Manage these under Team > Inductions.

How it works

  1. Set up your induction with the documents to sign and the steps to complete

  2. It is assigned to new starters (alongside any training modules you require)

  3. The new starter works through it in the app, and you can see who has finished

Inductions vs training

An induction is the day-one onboarding checklist. Training modules are the courses with assessments and certificates that staff complete and renew over time. Most businesses use both: an induction to get someone started, and training to keep them qualified.
