The Handovers page
Handovers written in the app arrive under Operations > Handovers in the admin panel. The page lists every handover across your sites, newest first: who wrote it, which site and shift, what they flagged (stock, equipment, safety or general notes) and whether a manager has acknowledged it. Filter by site, type, status and date.
Handovers used to sit on a tab of the bell. That tab is now the Inbox, and the full list has this page of its own.
Acknowledging a handover
Open a handover to read the notes, anything flagged and any manager notes added since. Acknowledge it once you have read it and dealt with anything that needed you. Acknowledgement is personal: it records that you have seen it, and it clears the item from your Inbox. The handover itself stays on the page as part of the day's record.
Until you acknowledge it, the handover sits in your Inbox alongside records to review, sign-offs owed and action points due, so nothing a closing shift wrote is lost under the next morning.
End-of-day reports
There is no menu item called "end of day report". The handover written at close is that report, and this page is where it is kept. Paddl also sends an end-of-day summary for each site when it closes: task completion, who was on shift, the records submitted and the handover notes. Owners and the site's managers receive it; turn it on or off under Settings > Notifications.
Who sees what
Owners see handovers from every site; managers see the sites they manage. Staff write them in the app and the next shift sees the previous one at check-in, which is covered in Submitting Handover & End-of-Shift Reports.
The Handovers module
Handovers is a Standard module under Settings > Modules. It needs Check-in, because a handover belongs to a shift. When it is off, this page and the Handovers item leave the sidebar, the Inbox stops listing handovers, Paddy stops offering handover actions, the end-of-day notifications stop and the audit pack leaves out its handover section. Nothing is deleted: switch it back on and the history is where you left it.
In the audit pack
Handover reports export as their own section of the Audit Pack when you want to show an inspector how the team passes information between shifts. They are a business record, so they never count towards a compliance score.
